About IELTS
The International English Language Testing System (IELTS) measures the language proficiency of individuals who want to study or work in countries where English is used as a language of communication.
IELTS exam is conducted worldwide by British Council, UK and IDP, Australia. This test is available in two formats academic and general.
Academic IELTS -If applying for higher education or professional registration in English speaking countries.
General IELTS – If migrating to Australia, Canada or the UK.
One can appear for IELTS test as many times as required. It is conducted 4 -5 times every month. The test score is valid for 2 years.

About TOEFL iBT
Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) is a test for English aptitude at any level for foreign universities. Administered by non-profit organization ETS (Educational Testing Service), TOEFL measures the ability of non-native speakers of English to use and understand English as it is spoken, written and heard in college and university settings. iBT stands for Internet Based Test which is the most common form of TOEFL conducted worldwide.
Students who want to apply for higher education overseas, scholarship and certification candidates, students and workers applying for visa can take TOEFL test any number of times not more than once in a 12-day period.

About PTE
Pearson Test of English (PTE) is an English language test for non-native English speakers who want to study abroad. It examines reading, writing, listening and speaking abilities. PTE is an approved test by the Australian Government for visa applications and accepted by thousands of institutions in the UK, Australia, USA, Canada, New Zealand, and Ireland.
There are two types of PTE –

Exam Pattern
Section-1: Quick Setup (5 minutes)
Here, the candidates are required to check their computer and other equipment (like microphone, speakers, and webcam). After this, they need to ensure that they are in a well-lit and quiet room. They must take a photograph of themselves and of their government-issued ID card in order to start the test.Section-2: The Test (30-45 minutes)
This is the time duration when the candidate is assessed on his/her language proficiency. As the test is computer-adaptive, if the candidates show a higher level of English, their test can end in about 30 minutes; otherwise, this section will take about 45 minutes. The questions are not arranged in any prescribed format/order and simply depend upon what the candidate has chosen as answer to the previous question. There are 12 question types involved in this rigorous testing environment which assess a candidate on his/her Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking skills.Section-3: Video Interview (10 minutes)
This is an unscored section of the test. The replies in this section are sent to the institutes along with the candidate’s proficiency score. This section is divided in two parts.Part-1: Spoken Response (1-3 minutes)
The candidates are given a choice to speak about 1 of the 2 topics. They must make their choice in 20 seconds and then speak about the topic for a minimum of 1 minute and a maximum of 3 minutes.Part-2: Written Response (3-5 minutes)

About SAT
SAT (Scholastic Aptitude Test) is one of the standardized college admissions tests in the USA (The other is ACT). It is taken by students seeking admission at undergraduate level in the USA. The SAT test evaluates the written, verbal and mathematical skills of the candidates.
There are two types of SAT i) SAT General Test ii) SAT Subject Test – It is designed to measure a secondary school student’s proficiency in a particular subject.

About ACT
American College Testing (ACT) is one of the standardized test for high school achievement and college admission in the US (other is SAT). International students looking to attend US undergraduate schools need to take either the ACT or the SAT.
ACT tests student’s ability based on English, Math, Reading, Science, Writing sections. ACT can be taken 12 times with time and date limitations.
